About the Valkyrie
The Valkyrie is
a World Record holding distance driver. It is an easy to
learn
disc, and
in lighter
weights will give newer players extra distance. Lighter
weights also give players extreme range when thrown downwind,
while maximum weights can give excellent upwind distance.
The Valkyrie’s high speed turn and flight characteristics
make it great choice for long range turnover shots and
rollers.
About
INNOVA's Champion Plastic
INNOVA’s Champion Line is produced with a unique plastic that provides
outstanding performance and durability. Champion discs are distinguished by a
clear or pearlescent plastic. Our Champion Line discs retain original flight
characteristics for an extended period of time. Whether used in heavily wooded
situations, or on extremely rugged courses, our Champion Line plastic will continue
to perform predictably and avoid damage better than any other plastic. Originally
designed for professional players, Champion Line discs can handle the increased
power of top level players. The Champion Line has recently expanded to include
most of our drivers as well as many of our popular disc models in other categories.
Many Champion Line discs are now available for custom hot

Team Champion member, Christian

distance record April 26, 2002 at "Big
D in the Desert. His record throw of 250
meters (820 feet) was made
with a 164g DX
Valkyrie. Former team member
Ken Jarvis was first to break the record
with a throw of 247 meters. Ken's record
lasted a mere 45 minutes! The
previous record of 217.05m (712 feet) had
been set by Chris Voigt of Germany.

Looking for:
More high speed stability? Try
a Champion Viking.
More glide? Try a Champion Sidewinder.
Faster? Try a Pro Starfire or Champion
Beast.
Slower? Try a Dragon or Champion
Eagle.
More Grip? Try a Pro Valkyrie, DX
Valkyrie, or Star Valkyrie.
Other Speed 9 discs? Firebird, Viking, Sidewinder, Roadrunner.
This is my favorite driver. It is an incredibly versatile
disc for me. It works very well with my throwing style.
I tend to throw low and the Valkyrie gets great distance
with low thrown shots. I typically carry three Valkyries
with me during a round (more if there is water). One
is beat and used for long turnover shots. The others
can be used for hyzers and subtle helix shots.
