About the Aero
The Aero is our best disc for beginners and players using only one disc. It is the straightest point-to-point golf disc and the easiest disc to keep on the fairway for beginners. It is a slow flying control disc with a large diameter and a significant amount of float. When broken in, the Aero will turnover very slowly and predictably. The Aero was introduced in 1983 as the first disc designed specifically for disc golf. The Aero once held the world distance record at 485 feet!

About INNOVA's Star Plastic
INNOVA'S new Star Line is created with a special blend of grippy, resilient polymers. Star Plastic offers the same outstanding durability of our regular Champion Plastic, plus improved grip like our Pro Plastic. Star discs have the same flight rating characteristics of Champion discs, although some Star discs may be slightly more high-speed stable. High performance, longevity, and superior grip make Innova Star discs the ideal choice for your game. Star Line discs will become available in our most popular disc models during the coming year. Watch for your favorite Star on the horizon.

DX - 150 class to 175 grams

Speed - Speed is the ability of the disc to cut through the air. Speed ratings are listed from 1 to 12. For more info on Speed, click here.

Glide - Is the ability to maintain altitude. Higher numbers mean more glide. Rated 1 to 7. For more on Glide, click here.

Turn - Tendency to turn at high speeds. Negative numbers are easier for beginners, rollers, and tailwinds. For more on Turn, click here.
Fade - Every disc will fade off in the same direction if allowed to decelerate. Higher numbers fade more than lower numbers. For more on Fade, click here.

Aero – What a great distance driver! Used to be! I threw an Aero out of a baseball stadium (during a demo) in 1984. I have had that same 174g disc in my bag ever since. Currently used for short LF to RT drives, short quick turning rollers, hand grenades, LF to RT putts. The eagle has been instrumental in thousands of birdies during my disc golf career. Best short under stable disc.
