About the Beast
The Beast issued in the era of the wide rimmed driver. The Beast was an instant classic when it was released; giving players more distance using less power. The Beast’s high glide, high speed and high speed turn all combine to give big distance. It is suitable for beginners and pros alike. A favorite of two-time World Champion Barry Shultz.

Speed - Speed is the ability of the disc to cut through the air. Speed ratings are listed from 1 to 12. For more info on Speed, click here.

Glide - Is the ability to maintain altitude. Higher numbers mean more glide. Rated 1 to 7. For more on Glide, click here.

Turn - Tendency to turn at high speeds. Negative numbers are easier for beginners, rollers, and tailwinds. For more on Turn, click here.
Fade - Every disc will fade off in the same direction if allowed to decelerate. Higher numbers fade more than lower numbers. For more on Fade, click here.

Flight Paths

Looking for:
More fade? Try a Star SL.
More turn? Try a Champion Monarch.
Faster? Try a Star Wraith.
Slower? Try a Champion Sidewinder or Champion Valkyrie.
More grip? Try a Pro Beast or DX Beast.
Other Speed 10 discs? Monster, Orc, Starfire.

Beast – The Beast is my main distance driver. The major reason I like the Beast so much is that it is a very controllable driver that has many uses, yet it is so fast it makes a great distance disc. I usually carry 2 or 3 Beasts at a time depending on the course (open vs. wooded) and the weather (hot vs. cold and dry vs. wet). I do like the long life of the Champion plastic and therefore like to use it in the woods. I will have a fresh Champion Beast in my bag as well. I will throw in a DX Beast when it is cold or wet and also if it is an open course.”
