Patrick Brown Hard at Work on Golden Gate Park

Sweat breaks across his brow despite the chill from the Pacific wind. He grunts as he moves the large branch of eucalyptus into place. Stepping back, he sizes up his next move with the same expression used to size up a 60' death putt. The erosion wall is nearly complete, but it's only a small piece of the 2012 Master Plan for Golden Gate Park DGC that has been spearheaded by Patrick Brown and backed by the leadership of the SFDGC.

Back-to-Back NT Victories for McBeth

Getting a pro win is one thing. Winning a PDGA National Tour event is something else. Given the depth of talent in disc golf today, winning consecutive NT events is a different accomplishment altogether. It requires raw physical talent, a strong mind, and a courageous heart. Innova Star Team member Paul McBeth has all three and has accomplished back-to-back NT victories.

Feldberg By a Nose... in Louisville

It was a barnburner in Louisville this weekend, as disc golf's top thoroughbreds galloped into the Bluegrass State for the Charlie Vettiner Open. Will Schusterick charged out of the gate on day one with opening rounds of 47. However, Dave Feldberg hit his stride coming out of turn three. Feldberg’s final round of 51 was enough to race past Schusterick by two. Ricky Wysocki crossed the line in 4th. It was a photo finish for Nikko Locastro and Paul McBeth who finished tied for 5th.
