While the disc golf world was focused on Massachusetts this weekend, discs were still flying around the world with over 30 sanctioned events to choose from. Nathan Sexton kept it local this weekend; dominating at the Calapooia Classic in Oregon with a 12 stroke win over the field. Josh Anthon opted to stay closer to home at the Gold Pan Open in California. He held off teammate Jim Oates to take the Open win. Patrick Brown takes a second place finish in Masters.

In Finland, Jussi Meresmaa had a single throw lead on second place going into the finals. Jussi "finnish"ed strong to extend his lead to five strokes for a big win in his homeland. Chris Sprague, stayed closer to home, wife, and new baby to take second at the Cedar Creek Open in Minnesota. Joel Kelly and J.D. Ramirez topped the field at the Met Center Open in Austin, Texas.

Paul McBeth is in the clouds with a win at the Sky High Showdown in California. Bobby Musick took third place. Al Schack narrowly edged out the field at the Farm Classic in Michigan. Ziggy Bierekoven, fresh off a top ten finish at Worlds, took the win at IOS #6 in Joliet, IL.
