Distance Drivers:
Champion Firebird -
My stable pig. Great for upwind and extreme hyzer shots. Never go out on the course without one.
Star Wraith -
Long and open shots when maximum distance is needed. The best distance driver ever.
Fairway Drivers:
Champion TeeBird -
I go 50% of my drives with this. The ROC of drivers. When you can´t afford to miss a fairway take this disc. Very predictable.
Discmania S-line CD - Control your drives. Close to TeeBird, but a little less stable. Great for turning shots and straight drives.
Mid-Range:
Discmania MD1 -
Backbone of my short range drives and long approaches I mix D-, S- and SG-line for different situations. Great discs.
Gator -
Approaches and short hyzer drives. Very trustworthy, very stable.
Putt & Approach:
Discmania D-line P1 -
Putter is your most important disc. Ask Dave Feldberg about his black
putter:) P1 is Aviar-like straight putter up to 200 feet approach shots.
You make about 30% of shots in a round with your putter so it better suit both to your game and hand. Plastic and feel are important. I like this tacky D-line material.

Most memorable win:
Finnish National tournament
in 2000. I was 1 stroke behind the tied leaders before
the last hole. I missed
the tee-off and ended up 60 feet from the basket and
under a little tree. I forced my competitors to playoff
with dead-center-knee-putt. On the first playoff hole
I threw a giant hyzer within a 1 foot from the basket
and took the victory.
The memorable thing was that I never gave up. I was
7th and 8 strokes from the leader when we started the
last day and the last 36 holes. After this it was a
lot easier to play tight competitions.
My Favorite Tournaments:
USDGC
Japan Open
European Open
These tournaments are the break through of professional disc golf USDGC
leading the way. Every serious disc golfer should aim for these three
world majors.
What are your pre-round/tournament rituals?
No specific rituals. I try to get a good sleep before the tournament and
take my positive attitude with me.
Advice:
Throw first for fun and learn basic shots. Make new
friends –later you gonna see how much it matters.
Quote:
I consider myself as promoter and a teacher for discgolf among my playing
career. I have runned many clinics and shows to people. Discgolf
