Distance Drivers:
Wraith: Star - My anytime distance driver. I can use it for turnover shots or hyzers—it flies so true to the way it is thrown.
Wraith: Champion - Great for distance anhyzers; when thrown, it will flip and fly long .
Destroyer: Champion
Destroyer: Pro - Big hyzers.
Starfire: Pro - I throw this disc for most of my anhyzers; I carry several in different stages of wear and tear. The beat up ones will always flip into anhyzers; the new ones hold the line.
Monster: Champion - My go-to disc for shorter drives when I want to control the distance.
Firebird: Champion - The best, all-purpose disc for out-of-trouble shots; it always holds the hyzer line. It is great for spike hyzers over obstacles or skip hyzers under obstacles!
Fairway Drivers:
Mid-Range:
Roc: Champion - For me, it flies exactly how it is thrown. It is perfect for anyhyzers and straight, technical shots.
Stingray: Champion - My out-of-trouble anhyzer midrange; it always flips no matter how I throw it.
Putt & Approach:
Aviar: CE (beaded) - Mine is really beat up, so I use it for throwing anhyzers. It is great for technical shots.
Aviar (no bead) - The most consistent putter I have ever thrown; it has the perfect grip and always holds the line.

Most memorable event:
The entire 2007 Pro Worlds was an incredible experience for me. The courses were gorgeous, long, and technical, and I just had fun playing disc golf. In divisional doubles, I was playing with Liz Shooner of Covington, Kentucky. We both played terrible in the Best Shot first round. During the second round, we were playing a 6-6-6 format with the format changing every six holes. We were playing fine…until we got to the six holes of Tough Shot. Then, both of us really turned it on, and we shot the six Tough Shot holes at four under par! It was immensely funny (and, it was a blast) with both of us parking the holes for deuces.
Also, singles at Pro Worlds was very exciting; I got to play two rounds on the top card and experience being in contention for a few rounds at a Major.
Memorable Win: The 2006 Flying Pig Open. It was my first pro tournament, and I came from behind in the final round to win. Additionally, winning the Amateur World Championships was an incredible experience that I will never forget.
Goals:
Short – Make finals at Majors and National Tours. Also, I would like to improve my forehand!
Long –Win Worlds; play the USDGC.
Advice: Learn one driver. Take a relatively straight-flying disc and learn how to throw it hyzer, anhyzer, and straight. This helps you to learn the different throwing motions needed for different shots. Then, gradually add new drivers to your bag, learning how each one flies. Always remember that all discs are tools, and that to throw them well requires PATIENCE and PRACTICE!
Additional comments: Play disc golf with your family! Men, try to get your girlfriends, wives, and kids playing the sport—this is one of the best ways to grow the sport of disc golf. I began playing when I was very young because of my parents, and I am playing today because they took me with them when they played disc golf.
