Ace the Aero Contest Terms & Conditions

  1. Introduction
    Welcome to the “Ace the Aero” Challenge brought to you by Innova Disc Golf! We’re calling all disc golfers to showcase their best ace using the iconic Aero or the original 1983 Eagle. By participating, you’re not only showing off your skills but also agreeing to these terms and conditions, so please read carefully.
  2. Eligibility
    This contest is open to disc golfers of all ages and locations worldwide. However, employees of Innova, including staff, sponsored athletes, and brand ambassadors, are not eligible to win the Grand Prize or Runner Up prize. By participating you are confirming that your local laws and restrictions do not prohibit such contests. Entry posts must be publicly visible to be eligible. Videos shot prior to March 29, 2024 are ineligible.
  3. Contest Period
    The challenge kicks off March 29, 1pm PDT and runs until April 21, 2024 at 11:59pm PDT. Make sure to get your entries in within this timeframe!
  4. How to Enter
    To throw your hat in the ring:
    • Capture a continuous video of an ace using either an Innova Aero or original 1983 Eagle. Aces with any other disc are not eligible.
    • Ensure the flight video shows the full flight of the disc, leaving the player’s hand at the teebox, ending with the disc in the basket, and footage of yourself retrieving the disc from the basket, stating the hole number, course, date, and time.
    • Share your epic moment on Instagram or Facebook with the hashtag #AcetheAero. Optionally, tag and/or collaborate with Innova on your post.
    • Participants may post multiple entries.
  5. Prizes
    • Grand Prize: An unthrown Innova Original 1983 Eagle, two DX Aeros, a Champion Rollo, and an Innova Adventure Pack.
    • Runner-Up: Two stock DX Aeros, a Champion Rollo, a Halo Sidewinder, and an Innova Adventure Pack.
  6. Selection of Winners
    We’re dialing up the excitement with a two-stage fan vote:
    • Semifinals: Eight semifinalists will be selected by the “Ace the Aero” selection committee and split into two pools. Each pool’s videos will be posted consecutively on Instagram as carousel posts. Votes will accumulate for 24-hours following the publishing date and time. The results of the 24-hour vote will determine the winner for each pool.
    • Finals: The top-voted ace from each pool will face off in a final Instagram poll. The winners will be determined following the 24-hour voting period, with the Grand Prize winner determined by the most votes.
  7. Permissions
    By entering, you grant Innova Disc Golf the right to use your real name, Instagram handle, and video submission for this contest and future marketing efforts.
  8. General Conditions
    This contest is hosted by Innova Disc Golf and is in no way sponsored, endorsed, or administered by Meta, Instagram, or any other entities. By entering this contest, you agree to a complete release of Meta, Instagram, or any other entities from any or all liability in connection with this contest. We reserve the right to cancel or modify the contest as needed to ensure fairness and compliance.
