From Near Miss to Breakthrough Win
Team Innova’s FPO lineup has delivered some emotional finishes to start the season, and the 2026 Jonesboro Open added another chapter. Just one week after a heartbreaking near miss at the Champions Cup, Henna Blomroos responded with the first Elite win of her career. A player who has been at the top of the field for over a decade and so close to the win so many times finally has the centerpiece trophy.View this post on Instagram
Henna Blomroos – 1st
One week after coming up just short at the Major, Henna Blomroos earns her first DGPT win. She has long been the player next in line for a breakthrough, consistently leading the field in throwing stats while stacking second-place finishes and near misses. With 17 combined Major and DGPT podiums over the course of a decade, the skill has never been in question. Now, the result finally matches the level of play. Blomroos has been one of the best pure throwers in the field for years, finishing top 5 in the 2025 season in Fairway Hits, Parked Percentage, and both C1 and C2 Hits in Regulation. This week, she paired that strength with timely putting when it mattered most. She made two crucial Circle 2 putts in the final round and ultimately won the event by a single stroke. The pivotal moment came on Hole 10, when a rollaway on an inside-the-circle attempt left her with a 38-foot comebacker. With the tournament hanging in the balance, Blomroos stepped up and converted. It was a confident, committed putt in a moment where things have slipped away before, and it carried through the rest of the round. From that point on, she looked in control and didn’t leave the door open on the green. Statistically, it was another dominant performance. Blomroos led the field in Parked Percentage, C1 Hits in Regulation, C2 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green. The difference this time was closing it out. After years of knocking on the door, Henna is now a DGPT champion. For many players, the first win is the hardest, and this one could open the floodgates for more to come. Either way, no one can ever take away that she’s an Elite winner who came out on top in a full FPO field.View this post on Instagram
Calvin Heimburg – 4th
Calvin Heimburg continues his steady climb to start the season, now stacking back-to-back Top 5 finishes. He led the MPO field in Parked Percentage to earn 4th, marking the sixth consecutive year Heimburg has finished inside the Top 5 at this event. If he’s going to keep improving at every stop this season, the only place left to go next week is the podium.View this post on Instagram

Kona Star Montgomery – 6th
Kona Star Montgomery earned a spot on the final round lead card and delivered her second Top 10 of the season. She finished second in both Fairway Hits and Strokes Gained Tee to Green, showing a high level of control off the tee throughout the week. It’s her best DGPT finish since 2021, before her battle with thyroid cancer, and a strong sign that she’s rounding back into full form.View this post on Instagram
