The Winningest of All Time

Brian “Schwebby” Schweberger is on the verge of another milestone in his record-setting career. With 499 career PDGA Pro wins, the longtime Team Innova athlete is just one victory away from becoming the first player in history to reach 500.

Nearly Three Decades on Top

Schwebby’s first professional win came in 1999, just a year after he began competing in PDGA events. Since 2006, he has won at least 10 tournaments every single season. His winningest year came in 2023, at age 50, when he collected a staggering 41 titles.

Along the way, he won two Tim Selinske US Masters Championships, in 2013 and 2025, earned the Bob West Sportsmanship Award, and built a career defined by consistency. With nearly 1,000 tournaments played, he has won more than half of the events he’s entered.

A Love of Competition

Schwebby never set out to chase a particular number of victories. But after his induction into the Disc Golf Hall of Fame, he set a new goal: reach 500 wins before playing his 1,000th tournament and keep his career win rate above 50%.

What keeps him coming back isn’t the records. It’s the competition.

“I love the competition. I’ve always been a competitive person. So having people to compete against and making me play my best all the time is what I like.”

Schwebby has represented Innova since 2002, relying on many of the same molds throughout his career. The KC Aviar, Firebird, Shark, and Leopard have been staples in his bag for decades.

Schwebby plans to step back from playing tournaments full-time, but he isn’t hanging up his discs. After nearly 30 years of competitive disc golf and more wins than any other player in the sport, his love of the game remains.
