Thread the Fairway
After an early limited rollout full of positive feedback, the Star Arachnid becomes available for universal release on March 27th. Like the Fox, the Arachnid feels fast for a Mid-Range and pushes forward with maximum glide.
But where the Fox is designed to turn easily, the Arachnid is built to stay straight under more power. It offers added torque resistance and a touch more finish at the end of the flight. Think Mid meets Fairway—a “fast five-speed” that holds its line longer before a gentle, reliable fade.
If the Fox is the ideal high-glide Mid for beginners and intermediate players, the Arachnid fills a similar slot for players with more arm speed.
What Fans Are Saying

Arachnid Ace Challenge Captures College Nationals
College Nationals continues to grow, fast-becoming one of the most fun and competitive events in the sport. Each year the tournament adds new layers to an already packed week of play. Alongside the main event, athletes took part in putting games, distance competitions, random draw doubles, and the chance to play on the same property as the USDGC. This year, the Arachnid joined the mix with a dedicated ace challenge.
Over the course of three hours on Friday, more than 600 Arachnid throws took aim at the basket… and two found chains! Robert Hogue (University of South Carolina) and Nicholas Chamberlain (Tennessee Tech) each carded an ace, with Chamberlain marking the first of his career. They each won a DISCatcher EZ and got to keep there ace Arachnid.

“Very, very glidey, a little bit on the flippy side, and really just got effortless distance for a Mid-Range… It’s just a special event, I’ve never really played anything like College Nationals.”
— @robert_hogue23, University of South Carolina
“I like the hand feel. Very glidey, that’s what I like about it. I put it on a little hyzer flip and it went dead straight. I’ve never aced before and I’ve been playing since I was 11.”
