European Swing Comes to a Close
While Team Innova’s FPO players headed back stateside to prepare for this week’s United States Women’s Disc Golf Championship, the MPO field wrapped up the European swing with several strong performances at the Heinola Open.
Calvin Heimburg – 2nd
Calvin Heimburg continued one of the most consistent stretches on tour with his third consecutive runner-up finish. Since the end of March, Heimburg has finished outside the Top 10 at just one Disc Golf Pro Tour Elite Series or Major event.
Vinny was nearly flawless on the putting green, missing just one putt inside Circle 1 all tournament. He ranked second in the field in both Circle 1 Hits in Regulation and Strokes Gained Putting.

Bradley Williams – T3
Bradley Williams recorded his second Top 10 finish of the Disc Golf Pro Tour season with a tie for 3rd. He led the field in Fairway Hits and ranked second in Total Putt Length.

Onni Ruusunen – T6
Competing on home soil, Onni Ruusunen recorded the second Disc Golf Pro Tour Top 10 finish of his career.

Eetu Tuominen capped off an impressive European swing with a tie for tenth, giving him Top 10 finishes in three of his four Disc Golf Pro Tour events so far this season.

Team Innova heads to the year’s next Major with plenty of momentum, led by Eveliina Salonen. Eveliina Salonen has led after regulation in each of her last three starts, including her Career Grand Slam victory at the European Open. The course in Salt Lake City sits more than 9,000 feet above sea level, adding a unique challenge the Disc Golf Pro Tour rarely encounters.
