Late-Season Surge
Sofia Donnecke closed out the 2025 season with the strongest stretch of play of her career. She finished 9th at DGLO, 7th at MVP, 4th at Throw Pink, and 4th at the DGPT Championship. At MVP, she needed the hot round on the final day just to earn a spot in the Tour Championship. Then at the Tour finale, she started with no stroke advantage—eight strokes off the lead—and played her way all the way up to 4th. That late-season stretch of top 10s, hot rounds, and clutch moments earned Sofia her promotion to Team Champion.
Sofia’s game in 2025 was built on steady tee-to-green execution. She finished the year 5th in Parked Percentage and 9th in both Circle 1 and Circle 2 Hits in Regulation. Those numbers reflect a game built on power, control, and smart shot selection. When the putter heated up late in the season, she became one of the top threats in the field.

Heading into the offseason, Sofia is taking a balanced approach. She’s continuing to train with intention while also stepping away from competition to enjoy time on her bike, explore new places, and recharge away from the grind of Tour life. That mix of focused preparation and time off has her entering the next season refreshed, stronger, and eager to get back on the course. Team Champion reflects the level she reached late in the season and the big things she has in store for 2026.
“I started to really find a stride and find my game toward the later part of the season, and I’m really excited to bring that momentum into 2026.” — Sofia Donnecke
