Success Is Built One Moment at a Time

From once-in-a-lifetime shots to career-defining wins, these were the moments that shaped the season for Team Innova in 2025.

#6 — Eveliina Salonen Aces in Round One at USWDGC

Eveliina Salonen’s win at the U.S. Women’s Disc Golf Championship stands as the second biggest of her career, behind only Pro Worlds. And it started with a bang.

A 276-foot ace on Hole 16 in the opening round didn’t just set the tone for the weekend — it marked the start of three straight wins that defined Eveliina’s season. She went on to win USWDGC, followed it with an even bigger ace in her next event (more on that later), and capped the stretch with a third straight victory at PCS.

#5 — Calvin Heimburg Gets Aggressive on Hole 16 at the DGPT Championship

After an eagle on Hole 15 brought him back into contention, Vinny stepped up to Hole 16 of the Tour Championship and did what no one else was willing to do.

A 600+ foot blast mostly over OB — as aggressive as it gets and perfectly executed — while his competitors laid up. It was a statement shot and a decision to take everything into his own hands. That aggression paid off as Calvin seized the lead and closed out what was arguably the best season of his career with a win.

#4 — Ohn Scoggins Goes 6-of-9 from C2 in the Final Round of Worlds

Ohn Scoggins has been the best putter in FPO for years — but even by her standards, 6 of 9 from Circle 2 in the final round of the World Championships was extraordinary.

Every one of those putts mattered. They forced the playoff against Iida Lehtomäki and ultimately delivered Ohn her Open World Championship. The performance also made her the first player ever to win both Open Worlds and Masters Worlds in the same season.

#3 — Paul Oman Aces Hole 10 at Masters Worlds

Watching one of the most likable and deserving players in the sport finally earn a Major title is special on its own. Watching him do it with one of the best rounds of the season — and an ace — from the chase card is something else entirely.

Paul Oman delivered the round of his life when it mattered most, capped by an ace on Hole 10, to earn his first Major title at Masters Worlds. You couldn’t script it better if you tried.

#2 — Calvin Heimburg’s Putt for the Win at the European Disc Golf Festival

How does a 56-foot putt land this high on a list filled with aces and hero shots? Because it was the clutchest moment of the season — and of Calvin Heimburg’s career.

Based on Pro Tour performance and longevity at the top, Calvin was clearly the player next in line to win a Major. Years of elite consistency without that breakthrough created a quiet narrative that maybe he’d never get over the hump. After missing a short putt on Hole 17, the pressure intensified. On the final hole, with the largest crowd of the season to that point watching, Calvin faced the most important putt of his career from deep C2.

Center chains. Major Champion crowned. Any lingering doubt permanently erased.

#1 — Eveliina Salonen’s Albatross at the European Disc Golf Championship

Ace on a par 4… and then go on to win the tournament?

Eveliina smashed a 124-meter (407-foot) ace on Hole 12 to ignite her comeback win at the EDGC. And she earned the number one spot on this list with that albatross — the most epic shot of the season in either division.
