Three Tournaments. Three Wins. All Eyes on Worlds.
Back-to-back-to-back — you don’t get to say that often. Eveliina Salonen just locked up her third straight win, adding the 2025 PCS Open presented by Innova to her growing list of consecutive titles. She is playing the best disc golf of her life, and with Pro Worlds just three weeks away in her home country of Finland, the timing couldn’t be better.
Officially on a Streak
Eveliina Salonen entered the final round trailing by six strokes. By the end, she held the trophy and a three-stroke lead. Her 1006-rated, 7-under-par final round was the hottest of the day and flipped the script on what had looked like a runaway. Kristin Lätt stumbled in round three, but Eveliina still had to capitalize — and she did just that with a clinical performance off the tee.
Eveliina led the tournament in Fairway Hits, C1 and C2 in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green — where she was a jaw-dropping 10 strokes ahead of the next closest competitor. No ace this time… but she didn’t need one.
Just a few weeks ago, Eveliina’s season was solid. Now, she’s a clear frontrunner for Player of the Year. With three straight wins and seemingly unstoppable momentum, she has a real shot at topping her career-best 2024 campaign. If she can claim one of the remaining Majors — especially the World Championship — this season will be a legacy-maker.
