IN THE BAG

DISTANCE

Boss

Star Boss

headwind driver, the extra speed helps penetrate the wind.
Destroyer

Star Destroyer

headwind driver, carry 2 stabilities. The best distance driver ever! Can do just about anything with these.
Wraith

Star Wraith

my go to distance drivers in most conditions. I carry 3 different stabilities. Next addition will be a halo version for more headwind shots.
Tern

Champion Tern

easy to throw with little energy, this disc goes the farthest with little effort. Great for long range turnovers.
Sidewinder

Champion Sidewinder

my power roller disc also good for hyzer flip tunnels and long turnovers.
Thunderbird

Gstar Thunderbird

new addition, not nearly as overstable as other Thunderbirds, I love this as a longer straighter firebird in the wind.

FAIRWAY

Leopard3

Star Leopard3

the straight to turn over fairway. Easy to make this glide down straight or left to right tunnel shots
TeeBird3

Glow Champion TeeBird3

my go to fairway. Has amazing control and great aging and wind characteristics.
TL

Star TL

best TBird for long distance rollers.

MID-RANGE

Roc

KC Pro Roc

the golf standard of mid ranges. Start out flying overstable and age into understable flights. I always have at least 3 and usually 4 stabilities. My least stable becomes my midrange roller.
Roc3

Luster Roc3

my overstable mid. The 3’s are better into the wind.

Q&A

Memorable Win:

2011 Pro Worlds. In my hometown. I'll never forget the feeling when I heard people yelling "JB" in the finals at Pinto Lake. Exhilarating!

Advice:

Be patient and lose yourself in the process. Have realistic expectations, if you have them at all. Try to learn something new from everyone you play with.

Goals:

I'd love to get my rating back over 1000 in the short term. In the long term, keep my body healthy and injury free so I can continue to perform at a high level. Also, to give back to the community that has given me so much.

Additional Comments:

I hope to be able to contribute to the growth of the sport through some of my other talents; technique instruction, photography, videography come to mind.
