Round Two
Birdies and Basslines
Estonian standout Anneli Tõugjas-Männiste stayed steady through gusts and gallery pressure in Round 2 to take the Throw Pink lead at -6. Calvin Heimburg caught fire in the middle stretch of his round, surging into a tie for 5th. But the action didn’t stop when the last putt dropped — not even close.
As the sun set over Winthrop Lake, Kanika Moore lit up the Fresh & Now stage, delivering a set where fans and players danced side by side. In the back of the pavilion, current USDGC co-frontrunner Ricky Wysocki beat out Pete May in a ping pong match that had the crowd laughing and cheering.
Saturday promises more of both — tournament drama and Fresh & Now grooves — as the Championship heads into Moving Day.
Anneli Leads the Way
Anneli Tõugjas-Männiste is your solo leader at -6, two strokes ahead of the field after a steady -1 on the day. She cashed three highlight C2 putts and kept the wind in check with her Sexton Firebird (for the rest of the discs Anneli used to battle the wind, check out the Insta carousel below). Despite limited U.S. touring experience and only one previous tournament at Winthrop, Anneli is playing with a calm that says Champion. No nerves in her interviews, no hesitation in her game — just another day on the course.

8 Down in 8 Holes for Vinny
Calvin Heimburg jumped seven spots into a tie for 5th after a hot stretch between holes 5–12, including an eagle on Hole 10. He led the field in Strokes Gained Tee to Green and will be on the Moving Day chase card — fully in striking range if he keeps that fire going.

Eveliina Climbing Back
Eveliina Salonen shot a 1005-rated -3 to move up nine spots into 8th place. Her elite tee-to-green skills make her especially dangerous in the wind, so if conditions stay the same, Eveliina will have an advantage.
Henna Within Reach
Henna Blomroos sits in 9th, six strokes off the podium. We’ve seen her make late charges before and Winthrop is a course she can shred.
