Valarie Jenkins and defending champion Carrie Berlogar swapped leads a lot during the four-day event in Finland. But in the end, Valarie held Burl off by a single stroke to win her second Major of 2009. Defending champion, Ken Climo moved up to the lead card in the second round, and hung on for second place, being caught by Timo Pursio‘s bogey free final round.

It was not meant to be for Dave Feldberg, who was tied for the lead with 18 holes to play, but endured a tough final round to finish fourth. Fifth place belonged to 16 year old German phenom, Simon Lizotte. He was the guy to watch, hanging with the big dogs on the lead card. Keep an eye on this kid in the future!
