Champions at Every Level

Two Major Championships and a Career Grand Slam for Eveliina Salonen. A Powerball World Standings title and a career-best season for Ohn Scoggins. And for Calvin Heimburg, the United States Disc Golf Championship victory he’d dreamed of since childhood.

Team Innova’s 2026 season was filled with career milestones, dominant performances, and unforgettable moments. From first-time Elite Series winners to seven Masters World Champions and a new generation of rising stars, here are the top Team Innova storylines from 2026.

Eveliina’s Year for the Ages

Eveliina Salonen delivered the strongest season of her career, winning five Tour events, including two Majors, and completing the Career Grand Slam. Her elite driving was as dominant as ever, but improved putting took her game to another level.

At the European Open, Eveliina closed with a 1031-rated, nine-under final round to win by four strokes. The victory made her just the third player to complete the Career Grand Slam since the introduction of the Champions Cup. She followed with a career-best 1041-rated round to force a playoff at the Swedish Open, then won the Ale Open by 15 strokes. Her 1026 event rating at Ale was the second-highest in FPO history.

Eveliina’s most significant performance came at the PDGA Pro World Championship. She led the field in Fairway Hits, Parked Percentage, Circle 1 and Circle 2 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green. Her 1023 event rating was the highest ever recorded at FPO Worlds, and her 17-stroke victory was the largest winning margin since 2005.

With victories at the Kansas City Wide Open, European Open, Ale Open, Ledgestone Open, and Worlds, Eveliina finished 2026 with five Tour wins. She now has two World Championships and six career Open Major titles, tying teammate Juliana Korver for sixth-most all time.

Eveliina also reached a career-high 999 player rating, the second-highest FPO rating of all time, with a chance to become just the second woman to reach 1000 in upcoming ratings updates. She is likely the frontrunner for 2026 Player of the Year.

Ohn Wins the Season

Ohn Scoggins continues to improve year after year. In 2026, she won four DGPT Elite/Elite+ events, two JomezPro Series tournaments, and became the first Masters-age player to finish No. 1 in the Powerball World Standings.

Ohn opened the season with three consecutive A-Tier victories before winning the Supreme Flight Open. She added an eight-stroke victory at WACO and won the Open at Austin with a 1031-rated, ten-under final round, capped by a 28-foot winning putt on Hole 18.

Her consistency carried through the summer. Ohn finished inside the Top 4 at every Elite Series and Major event she played through the US Women’s Disc Golf Championship, where she finished runner-up.

In September, she won her third consecutive LWS Open title by five strokes, then claimed the Green Mountain Championship in a playoff with another clutch 28-foot putt. The back-to-back victories gave Ohn a career-high four DGPT Elite/Elite+ wins in a single season.

Ohn finished atop the Powerball World Standings, becoming the first Masters-age player to win the DGPT season points title. She also finished runner-up at Throw Pink, adding another important podium finish to a standout season.

Calvin Conquers Winthrop

Calvin Heimburg won the 2026 United States Disc Golf Championship, claiming his second career Major and first on American soil. After eight previous appearances at Winthrop, he finally captured the title he’d dreamed of winning since childhood.

Calvin entered Championship Sunday four strokes behind Gannon Buhr before making his move with an eagle on Hole 10 and birdies on 11 and 12. After saving bogey on the island Hole 17, where he’d lost his chance at the title in 2020, Calvin reached the final hole one stroke behind the lead.

When Gannon’s approach went out of bounds, Calvin had an opportunity to win with a 36-foot putt at an elevated basket. He buried it, sending thousands of spectators into celebration and securing the championship he’d chased for years.

Calvin finished at 23-under, two strokes clear of Buhr and Ricky Wysocki. He averaged 1065-rated across four rounds and led the field in Parked Percentage, Circle 2 Hits in Regulation, and Strokes Gained Tee to Green.

The USDGC victory capped a strong season that also included an OTB Open win in a playoff, three consecutive runner-up finishes during the European swing, and third place in the Powerball World Standings.

The Next Generation Arrives

Team Innova’s rising stars made their mark in 2026, with breakout performances at the professional and junior levels.

At the PDGA Pro World Championship, 21-year-old Rainers Balodis came within one playoff hole of winning the MPO World title. Making his first trip to the United States, the Latvian finished tied for the lead at 35-under after regulation. He led the field in Circle 1 Hits in Regulation and missed just one Circle 1 putt across five rounds.

Rebecca Don finished third at Worlds, one year after earning 2025 DGPT Rookie of the Year honors. She also won the World Putting Championship and recorded three consecutive 1000-rated rounds during the main event. Rebecca became a consistent Top 10 contender throughout the season, establishing herself among the best players in FPO.

At the PDGA Junior Disc Golf World Championships, Team Innova earned six World titles and 13 podium finishes across 10 divisions.

Thirteen-year-old Eva Lutsenko won FJ18 by 17 strokes, highlighted by a course-record 17-under round with an ace. She also won the Long Drive Contest with a 416-foot throw.

Ethan Hadders (MJ18), Irene Cisneros (FJ15), Taaniel Mehine (MJ15), Keely Bain (FJ10), and Cody Buker (MJ10) joined Eva as Junior World Champions.

Masters Champions and Legends

Team Innova earned seven World titles and podium finishes across 10 divisions at the 2026 PDGA Masters Disc Golf World Championships.

Bradley Williams won MP40 by 12 strokes in his Masters debut after choosing to skip the MVP Open to compete at Worlds. His 1077-rated, 15-under fourth round helped him take control, while teammate Nate Sexton finished runner-up.

Jennifer Allen claimed the first World Championship of her career, winning FP40 by 10 strokes. The longtime Team Innova Captain went wire-to-wire and earned her seventh PDGA Masters Major title.

Juliana Korver won FP50, recording her 300th career PDGA tournament victory. The win also marked her ninth professional World title.

Kevin Babbit completed a three-peat in MP55, while Joe Mela (MP65), Sandy Gast (FP65), and Dr. Rick Voakes (MP75) also earned Masters World titles.

The year brought another major honor for the Innova family. Jennifer Allen, Jonathan Poole, Carlos Rio, and Kevin McCoy were inducted into the World Disc Golf Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2026, recognizing decades of contributions to competition, event leadership, course design, and the growth of disc golf.

From the game’s rising stars to its most accomplished veterans, Team Innova’s 2026 season was a reminder that greatness takes many forms. With new champions emerging and established stars still reaching new heights, Team Innova is ready to carry that momentum into 2027.
