First DGPT United Series Event in the Books

The 2023 Ledgestone Open was the first of five DGPT United Series events that will take place this season. Scoggins Making Moves Up DGPT Point Standings

Just one week after the biggest DGPT victory of her career, Ohn Scoggins was back in contention, this time at an Elite+. Ohn took 2nd place at the 2023 Ledgestone Open, keeping up with first place finisher, Missy Gannon, through the four-round tournament. As she often does, Ohn led the FPO in C1x Putting. She also led the field in Birdie percentage and was 2nd in C2 Putting.

Ohn moved 3 spots up the DGPT Point Standings into 5th place. Last year, Ohn finished the year with the second most tour points in FPO. Though she took a long break in the middle of the 2023 season, if Ohn stays on fire through the next few tournaments, she could be on pace for a similar result this year.

FPO in the Top 10

Holly Finley has also had back-to-back weekends with awesome performances! She took 8th place at the 2023 Ledgestone Open, her second top 10 in a row. Holly was getting work done from C2. She made multiple putts from 60 feet or farther throughout the event. Holly moved 5 spots up the Point Standings and currently sits just two places out of qualifying position.

Jen Allen took 9th place at the 2023 Ledgestone Open. She led the field in C1 Hits in Regulation and had the 2nd lowest OB rate in the FPO. She moved five spots up the DGPT Point Standings into 14th.

Hailey King finished the weekend in a tie for 10th. She led the field in Strokes Gained C2 and was 2nd in Parked percentage. This is Hailey’s eighth top ten of the year out of ten events played.

Calvin Heimburg Averages on the Podium at 2023 DGPT Events

Team Innova superstar Calvin Heimburg added yet another podium finish to his long list of amazing tournament results this 2023 season. He took 2nd place at Ledgestone, his 12th DGPT podium of the season – In fact, Calvin’s average finish at DGPT events this year is 2.87.

Calvin put up a hard fight against competitor Cole Redalen. Calvin shot the hot first round to open the tournament with a bang. By the final round, Cole had built up a four stroke lead. But Calvin came out looking determined to put himself back in the mix. Calvin aced the 425-foot Hole 10 in the final round, swinging the momentum hugely in his favor. But Cole Redalen was just too consistent to take down. He shot the hot round for the weekend at -14 on the final day to take the win.

Calvin was 2nd in the field for the weekend in Birdie percentage and C2 Hits in Regulation. He now has over 1,000 Tour Points, a goal only two players managed to achieve by the end of last season. He leads the Tour Standings by over 200 points. That means Calvin could sit out two Elite Events that the 2nd place points leader won and would maintain his first place position.
