Kallstrom wins Stockholm
Markus Kallstrom is easily the best player in Europe these days, and he showed it at The Stockholm Disc Golf Open. Few bogeys is what Markus says kept him at the top. Finishing second is new man on campus, Oscar Stenfelt, Sweden's young phenom. Marco Lehousse takes second in Masters.
Brian Schweberger adds to his impressive playoff ratio with a win at the Tarheel. Justin Jernigan finishes third, Mike Hofmann fourth, David Wiggins fifth.
David Feldberg heads north to win the Alaska State Championships, While Devan Owen wins down South in Arkansas. Jeff Layland gets another win this week in Kentucky. Lavone Wolfe schools the field in Alabama. Mike Moser is king of Iron Hill in Delaware. Jim Myers would have won Open, but played Masters.
The heat is on!
Jeff Layland's smooth shots sealed the win at the Solstice Summer Sizzler. Phil Arthur and Kris Orrick made it a sweep filling out the top three spots. At the Eldorado Open, Philo Brathwaite, Bobby Musick, and Micah Dorius all tied for the win, but there can be only one... and it was Philo. Heating up the East Coast, Mike Moser and Joe Mela go 1-2 in Pennsylvania. Kevin McCoy and Courtney McCoy take the cake in Georgia. Brian Schweberger wins by 13 in North Carolina.
Innova was all over the leader board at the Minnesota Majestic NT. Valarie Jenkins gets another win, with Des Reading taking second in the womens field. Peter Shive wins in Senior Grandmasters. Innova took 7 of the top 10 spots in the Open division. Avery Jenkins (3rd), Josh Anthon (4th), Ken Climo (6th), Dave Feldberg, Barry Schultz, Jay Reading, and Ken Franks tie for 7th.
A Stormy Win in Colorado
Avery Jenkins was not distracted by nearby funnel clouds as he swept up his third win in as many weeks at the High Plains Challenge. Christian Dietrich took 4th, Ken Franks finished 6th. Des Reading wins in the womens division.
Up in British Columbia, Dave Feldberg glides to a win, with Nate Sexton taking second.

Team Jenkins (Avery and Valarie) get another sweep in Montana, Avery won in a playoff with Matt Orum who got 2nd. Jay Reading took 5th. Ken Franks and Travis Blase take the top spots in Nebraska. Carrie Berlogar, Chris Sprague, Coda Hatfield, Cory Sharp, Courtney and Kevin McCoy, David Wiggins Jr, and Dixon Jowers all recorded wins around the country this weekend. Paul McBeth was all square but lost the playoff for the win in Arizona, Derek Billings took 3rd.
