Global Ambassadors For Disc Golf

Members of the Innova Air Force jetted to all sides of the globe this weekend, delivering a bounty of outstanding performances. Will Schusterick flew from Kansas City to Japan where he showcased disc golf for many school children. He also won the Fukui Open, carding two aces. Avery Jenkins left KC bound for Norway, where he and teammate Karl Johan Nybo distanced themselves from the field to finish 1-2 at the Sula Open. Pasi Koivu, one of Innova’s newest sponsored players, picked up his first win on the Finland Pro Tour.

In the US, Philo Brathwaite was victorious in Colorado, Brian Schweberger and Brian McRee in North Carolina, Paul McBeth in Utah, Mike Moser in Pennsylvania, Jay Reading in Iowa, Kyle Crabtree in Washington, and J.D. Ramirez in Texas.

Strong second place finishes were also provided by Valarie Jenkins, Matt Orum, Dr. Rick Voakes, Ricky Wysocki, Chris Sprague, Bobby Musick, Adam Hunt, and Kevin McCoy.

On deck: Beaver State Fling

Everyone now sets their sights on PDX, the international airport code for Portland, Oregon. Portland plays host to the fourth stop on the PDGA National Tour – the Beaver State Fling. This event will feature one of the most competitive fields of the season and is sure to be a fan’s delight. The Milo McIver course in Estacada, Oregon will challenge the best players.
